Comment
The sister taxon of Kalophrynus cryptophonus and together the sister taxon of Kalophrynus interlineatus according to the original publication. See account by Zug, 2015, Proc. California Acad. Sci., Ser. 4, 62: 160. Vassilieva and Nguyen, 2023, Vert. Zool., Senckenberg, 73: 367–382, reported on larval development and morphology.
