Kalophrynus meizon Zug, 2015, Proc. California Acad. Sci., Ser. 4, 62: 166. Holotype: FMNH 267881, by original designation. Type locality: "Samarakan Nursery (2° 56′ N 113° 05′ E), Bintulu Division, Sarawak", Malaysia. 

English Names

Borneo Big Sticky Frog (original publication). 


On Borneo from northern West Kalimantan (Indonesia) to northeastern Sabah (Malaysia) with isolated records in southern South Kalimantan (Indonesia). 


Confused in the literature with Kalophrynus pleurostigma according to the original publication. Haas, Kueh, Joseph, bin Asri, Das, Hagmann, Schwander, and Hertwig, 2018, Evol. Syst., 2: 89–114, provided a brief account of morphology and natural history for the Sabah population.
