Comment
Formerly confused with Kalophrynus pleurostigma prior to 2022 and subsquently with Kalophrynus minusculus according to the original publication, where comparative adult morphology, molecular markers (which show this lineage as the sister taxon of Kalophrynus minusculus) and advertisement call were detailed.
