Comment
Chanda, 2002, Handb. Indian Amph.: 203–204, provided a brief account for Assam, India. Paul, Biswas, and Deuti, 2007, Herpetol. Rev., 38: 97–98, provided a record for West Bengal, India. Mahony and Reza, 2007, Herpetol. Rev., 38: 348, provided a record for Bangladesh (as Kalophrynus interlineatus). Ahmed, Das, and Dutta, 2009, Amph. Rept. NE India: 30, provided a brief account for northeastern India. Mathew and Sen, 2010, Pict. Guide Amph. NE India: 62, provided a brief characterization and photographs. See account by Zug, 2015, Proc. California Acad. Sci., Ser. 4, 62: 171–172, who redelimited the species and removed it from the synonymy of Kalophrynus linterlineatus where it had been placed by Ohler and Grosjean, 2005, Herpetozoa, Wien, 18: 99–106. Das and Dutta, 2007, Hamadryad, 31: 154–181, noted no larval descriptions in the literature. Mathew and Sen, 2010, Pict. Guide Amph. NE India: 62, provided a record of nominal Kalophrynus interlineatus for northeastern India (presumably now assignable to Kalophrynus orangensis). See comment under Kalophrynus interlineatus for relevant literature.
