Kalophrynus palmatissimus Kiew, 1984, Malayan Nat. J., 37: 146. Holotype: BMNH 1982.1508, by original designation. Type locality: "lowland dipterocarp forest at about 75 m a.s.l. at the Pasoh Forest Reserve in Negeri Sembilian", Malaysia (Malaya).
