Kalophrynus robinsoni Smith, 1922, J. Fed. Malay States Mus., 10: 280. Holotype: BMNH 1923.5.14.29, according to Inger, 1985, in Frost (ed.), Amph. Species World: 383, now BM 1947.2.11.51, by museum records. Type locality: "Wray's camp. A halting place about four hours from Kuala Teku. Height above sea level, 3300 feet", in mountains of Pahang (Malaya), Malaysia.
