Kalophrynus robinsoni Smith, 1922, J. Fed. Malay States Mus., 10: 280. Holotype: BMNH 1923.5.14.29, according to Inger, 1985, in Frost (ed.), Amph. Species World: 383, now BM 1947.2.11.51, by museum records. Type locality: "Wray's camp. A halting place about four hours from Kuala Teku. Height above sea level, 3300 feet", in mountains of Pahang (Malaya), Malaysia.

Common Names

Robinson's Grainy Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 90).

Distribution

West Malaysia on the side of Gunung Tahang.
