Kalophrynus tiomanensis Chan, Grismer, and Grismer, 2011, Zootaxa, 3123: 62. Holotype: LSUHC 5024, by original designation. Type locality: "outside Gua Tengkuk Air (= Tengkuk Air Cave), Gunung Kajang, Tioman Island, Pahang at 810 m elevation (2° 46′ 12.22″ N 104° 9′ 15.75″ E)", Western Malaysia
English Names
Tioman Sticky Frog (Zug, 2015, Proc. California Acad. Sci., Ser. 4, 62: 181).
Distribution
Tioman Island, West Malaysia, where it is known from the Gua Tengkuk Air near to the of Gunung Kajang and along the Tekek-Juara trail, although expected to be more widespread on the island.
Comment
Confused with Kalophrynus pleurostigma prior to its naming, according to the original publication. See account by Zug, 2015, Proc. California Acad. Sci., Ser. 4, 62: 181.
