Distribution
Known only from the vicinity of the type locality in the Dabie Mountains, Huoshan and Jinzhai counties, Luan City, Anhui Province, China, 535 to 1300 m elevation.
Comment
The sister taxon of Microhyla mixtura + Microhyla okinavensis, according to the original publication, where comparative morphology, morphometrics, acoustics, and molecular markers were detailed.
