Fanjing Mountain Pygmy Frog (original publication).
Distribution
Known only from the type locality (Fanjing Mountain, Yinjiang County, Guizhou Province, China, ca. 1300 m elevation), in paddy fields near evergreen broad-leaf forest .

Comment
Most closely related to Microhyla beilunensis, Microhyla mixtura, and Microhyla okinavensis, according to the original publication. Gorin, Solovyeva, Hasan, Okamiya, Karunarathna, Pawangkhanant, de Silva, Juthong, Milto, Nguyen, Suwannapoom, Haas, Bickford, Das, and Poyarkov, 2020, PeerJ, 8 (e9411): 1–47, placed this species in their Microhyla fissipes group.
