Geocrinia sparsiflora Parkin, Donnellan, Parkin, Shea, and Rowley, 2023, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 189(107934): 16. Holotype: NMV D76428, by original designation. Type locality: "Victoria (site 20; – 38.54742, 143.96243; 94 m a.s.l.)".

Distribution

Endemic to the Otway Plains and Ranges southwestern Victoria, Australia, extending slightly into the eastern edge of the Warrnambool Plains sub bioregion, where a spatiotemporally stable (>50 years) and narrow (~9–30 km wide) hybrid zone is formed with Geocrinia laevis. Found from about Anglesea to Port Campbell and as far north as Colac.
