Litoria scabra Günther and Richards, 2005, Russ. J. Herpetol., 12: 204. Holotype: MZB Amph 11.335, by original designation. Type locality: "Wapoga Alpha exploration camp (3° 08.687′ S, 136° 34.423′ E, 1070 m a.s.l.) in the headwaters of the Wapoga River, Papua Province of Indonesia".
