Litoria biakensis Günther, 2006, Salamandra, 42: 118. Holotype: ZMB 67740, by original designation. Type locality: "in the swamp forest at the village of Arwe, ca. 6 km southwest of Korem (Korim), 100 m a.s.l., coordinates 0° 56′ S, 136° 00′ E, Biak Island in the Cenderawasih Bay, Papua Province, Indonesia".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality on Biak Island in Cenderawasih Bay, Papua Province (New Guinea), Indonesia.

Comment

Related to the Litoria nigropunctata group according to the original publication, although not congeneric in the trees of Donnellan, Mahony, Esquerré, Brennan, Price, Lemmon, Lemmon, Günther, Monis, Bertozzi, Keogh, Shea, and Richards, 2025, Zool. J. Linn. Soc., 204(2: zlaf015): 1–80, who placed the species in separate genera.
