Comment
A green species of obscure relationships according to the original publication; the species name is a noun in appostion as well. Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 108, provided a brief account for this species which he included in his Litoria bicolor complex. Menzies, Richards, and Tyler, 2008, Aust. J. Zool., 56: 257-280, discussed the species as a member of their Litoria bicolor group.
