Phrynobatrachus jimzimkusi Zimkus, Gvoždík, and Gonwouo in Zimkus and Gvoždík, 2013, Zool. Scripta, 42: 597. Holotype: MCZ A-136904, by original designation. Type locality: "CAMEROON, West Province, below Mt. Bamboutos summit, 5° 39′ 41.0′′ N, 10°0737.9′′E, 2050 m elevation".

Distribution

Submontane and montane regions (13002900 m elevation) of Mount Manengouba, Bamboutos Mountains, Mount Lefo and Mount Oku in Cameroon and the Obudu Plateau in Nigera.

Previously confused with Phrynobatrachus steindachneri according to the original publication. Channing and Rödel, 2019, Field Guide Frogs & Other Amph.
