Phrynobatrachus moroedeli Kouamé and Petzold, 2026, Zootaxa, 5759: 509. Holotype: ZMB 94963, by original designation. Type locality: "Ivory Coast, Dohouan village forest, a patch of the Tanoé-Ehy swamp forests, 05°11ʹ38.04ʺN, 02°52ʹ32.9ʺW, (datum: WGS84), swamp forest dominated by Raphia palms with large canopy gaps, shallow water, and the leaf-litter".
