Distribution

Standing water on the southern Bamiléké Plateau of western Cameroon, 1100 and 1500 m elevation, into central or southeastern Cameroon at lower elevations (ca. 380 m); possibly to extend into adjacent northern Rep. Congo.

An 12-alloploid member of the Xenopus amieti group according to the original publication. Channing and Rödel, 2019, Field Guide Frogs & Other Amph. Afr.: 46–47, provided a brief account, photograph, and range map.
