Seeps on granitic inselbergs, Mutinondo Wilderness, northern Zambia.

Comment
Insofar as is known this is the only species of Ptychadena with rupicolous larvae, according to the original publication. In the Ptychadena bibroni group of Nečas, Mazuch, Czurda, Elmi, Rödel, and Gvoždík, 2025, Afr. J. Herpetol., 73: 236–260.
