Distribution

Eastern Sierra Leone and extreme southeastern Guinea through Liberia (although likely absent from the south-central part) and Ivory Cost to southern-central Ghana, all within the belt of the (former) rainforest zone; possibly into Togo. 

Geographic Occurrence

Natural Resident: Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Sierra Leone

Likely/Controversially Present: Togo

Comment

Formerly confused with Amnirana albolabris, and the sister taxon of Amnirana fonensis, with comparative morphology, morphometrics, advertisement call, molecular markers, and natural history detailed in the original publication.
