Ammachi’s Cascade Frog (original publication).
Distribution
Known only from the type locality (Vanghmun in the Jampui Hills, Kanchanpur Division, North Tripura District, Tripura State, India, elevation 540 m elevation), possibly more widely distributed within the Jampui Hills region.

Natural Resident: India
Endemic: India
Comment
A member of the Amolops marmoratus group and the sister taxon of Amolops indoburmanensis, according to the original publication, where molecular markers (16S mtDNA) and comparative adult morphology were detailed.
