Amolops beibengensis Jiang, Li, Zou, Yan, and Che in Che, Jiang, Yan, and Zhang, 2020, Amph. Rept. Tibet: 175–181, provided a detailed account for Tibet, China. Holotype: KIZ 11015, by original designation. Type locality: "the waterfall of Beibeng Hydropower Station, Mêdog, Tibet (29.239307° N, 95.176014° E, 689 m)", China.

None noted. 

Distribution

Known  from the type locality (waterfall of Beibeng Hydropower Stationi, Mêdog, Xizang, China, 689 m elevation) and from several nearby localities in Dibang District, Arunachal Pradesh, northeastern India.

In the Amolops viridimaculatus group of Jiang, Ren, Lyu, Wang, Wang, Lv, Wu, and Li, 2021, Zool. Res., Kunming, 42: 574–591. Patel, Boruah, Narayanan, and Das, 2023, Herpetol. Notes, 16: 865–875, reported the species from Arunachal Pradesh, India, discussed morphometrics and phylogenetic placement (16s sequence) within Amolops. In the Amolops viridimaculatus group of Biju, Ellepola, Sarmah, Upadhyaya K., Bisht, Tajo, Hanken, and Garg, 2026, Bull. Mus. Comp. Zool., 164: 1–144, who reported on the molecular and adult and larval morphological phylogenetics of the genus, with special reference to the species of India. Larval characteristics summarized on Table S10.
