Doi Phuka, Nan, Thailand, as well as Khammouan, Vientiane, and Bolikhamxay provinces, north-central Laos, and adjacent Vietnam (Ha Tinh, Nghe Anh, Thanh Hoa, Son La, and Quang Binh provinces—see comment), 200–1350 m elevation.
