English Names

Urban Golden-backed Frog (original publication). 


Known only in the southern Western Ghats from Kadavanthra and Tripunithura (Ernakulam District), Kadakkattupara (Malappuram District), and Meladoor (Thrissur District) in the state of Kerala, southern India; usually found in urban area in open bodies of water below 150 m elevation. 


In the Hylarana aurantiaca group according to the original publication.
