Comment
The sister taxon of Sylvirana montosa according to the original publication. Poyarkov, Nguyen, Duong, Gorin, and Yang, 2018, PeerJ, 6 (e5771): 17, provided a record (as Sylvirana cf. annamitica) from Cuc Phuong National Park, Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam. Tieflandfeuchtwald–Schutzgebietes Vietnam: 1–342) from Ke Go Nature Reserve, Ha Tinh Province, Vietnam, to Sylvrana annamitica. Stuart, Seateun, Sivongxay, and Phimmachak, 2025 "2024", in Wildlife Lao PDR: 41, summarized literature, taxonomy, habitat, and detailed range for Laos. Pham, Nguyen, Phan, Le, Pham, and Pham, 2025, Biodiversity Data J., 13 (e159973): 1–25, reported the species from Ha Nam Provinces, northern Vietnam, and briefly discussed the range in Vietnam.
