Chiromantis trilaksonoi Riyanto and Kurniati, 2014, Russ. J. Herpetol., 21: 67. Holotype: MZB Amph. 17.932, by original designation. Type locality: "Bantaraya village (Desa), Bancarbungur district (Kecamatan), Bogor regency (Kabupaten), West Java province, Indonesia (06° 32′ 00.6″ S, 106°, 44′ 21.9″ E; elevation 191 m)".

Herlambang, Laksono, Riyanto, Fauzan, and Hamidy, 2023, Treubia, 50: 111–124, provided genetically confirmed records from Bukit Baru, Ilir Barat I District, Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia, along with descriptions of morphology, advertisement, call, and phylogenetic placement.
