Huaping Small Tree Frog (original publication). 

花坪纤树蛙 (Chinese: original publication). 

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Huaping National Natural Reserve, Longsheng, Guangxi, China, 1474 m elevation).

Comment

The sister taxon of Gracixalus jinxiuensis according to the original publication, where molecular markers (16S mtDNA) and morphological characters were detailed. Ironically, this species was not compared to Gracixalus weii, named in the same issue of the same journal and also posited to also be the sister taxon of Gracixalus jinxiuensis. Even though the type localities are separated by about 400 km, it would seem that the editors of this journal might have considered this to be a problem.
