Southern Annam (Lam Dong, Dac Lac, Gia Lai, and Kon Tum provinces) and Tonkin region (Lao Cai, Cao Bang, Vinh Phu, and Bac Thai provinces), Vietnam; Sepian, Boloven Highlands, Champasak Province, Laos.

Teynié, David, Ohler, and Luanglath, 2004, Hamadryad, 29: 35, provided a record and comments for Laos. Nguyen, Ho, and Nguyen, 2005, Checklist Amph. Rept. Vietnam: 35, provided specific localities for Vietnam. Orlov, Poyarkov, Vassilieva, Ananjeva, Nguyen, Sang, and Geissler, 2012, Russ. J. Herpetol., 19: 47–51, discussed the species in Vietnam and cautioned about identifications. Poyarkov, Nguyen, Popov, Geissler, Pawangkhanant, Neang, Suwannapoom, and Orlov, 2021, Russ. J. Herpetol., 28 (3A): 56, suggested a transfer to Kurixalus pending appearance of in press data; and considered the Laos record to require confirmation.
