Distribution
Northeastern Vietnam to southern Guizhou, western Guangxi, northern Guangdong, and montane Hainan Island, China.

Natural Resident: China, People's Republic of, Vietnam
Comment
Yu, Rao, Matsui, and Yang, 2017, Sci. Rep. (Nature, London), 7 (16124): 1–13, redelimited the species and compared this species to other members of the Kurixalus odontotarsus complex, and noted that records of Kurixalus verrucosus from Xizang, China, are referable to Kurixalus naso, and also noted two unnamed species in the Kachin, Myanmar, region. Pham, Do, Ngo, Tran, Ziegler, and Nguyen, 2020, Check List, 16: 1025–1041, provided a record (as Kurixalus cf. hainanus) from Hai Ha District, Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam, on the Guangxi, China, border.
