Common Names
Yang's Frill-limbed Treefrog (Zug, 2022, Smithson. Contrib. Zool., 653: 41; Dinesh, Radhakrishnan, Deepak, and Kulkarni, 2023, Fauna India Checklist, vers. 5.0 : 12).
Distribution
Known from western Yunnan, China, from the vicinity of the type locality (Nabang, Yingjiang County, Dehong Autonomous Prefecture), into adjacent northern Myanmar (Kachin) on the border region; reported from Nagaland and Mizoram, northeastern India.

Comment
In the Rhacophorus odontotarsus species group according to the original publication. Humtsoe, Bordoloi, Ohler, and Grosjean, 2020, Russ. J. Herpetol., 27: 257–274, reported on natural history and larval morphology in Nagaland, India. Lalronunga, Vanramliana, Lalramliana, and Lalhmingliani, 2021, Zootaxa, 4974: 385, discussed the record from Mizoram (confirmed with genetic data), and suggested that Kurixalus naso may be a senior synonym. Zug, 2022, Smithson. Contrib. Zool., 653: 41, briefly discussed identification, habitat, and range in Myanmar.
