Mercurana myristicapalustris Abraham, Pyron, Ansil, Zachariah, and Zachariah, 2013, Zootaxa, 3640: 183. Holotype: TNHM 12.6.18.69, by original designation. Type locality: "from bushes at the periphery of a temple compound, Arippa (8.8392N, 77.0314E, altitude approximately 184m ASL), near Kulathupuzha Reserve Forest, Kollam district, Kerala, India."

Myristica Lowland Tree Frog (Dinesh, Radhakrishnan, Deepak, and Kulkarni, 2023, Fauna India Checklist, vers. 5.0 : 12).
Distribution
Lowland swampy areas of the western foothills of the Agasthyamalai Hill Range north to the Vazhachal Reserve Forest, Kerala, India.
