Philautus kakipanjang Dehling and Dehling, 2013, Zootaxa, 3686: 278. Holotype: NMBE 1060433, by original designation. Type locality: "from below the summit of Gunung Serapi (01°35.261’ N, 110°11.578’ E; 780 m a.s.l.), Kubah National Park, Sarawak, Malaysia".

Most similar with and likely a member of the Philautus aurifasciatus group according to the original publication.
