Philautus refugii Inger and Stuebing, 1996, Raffles Bull. Zool., 44: 544. Holotype: FMNH 252418, by original designation. Type locality: "Bukit Lanjak, 840 m, Lubok Antu District, Second Division, Sarawak", Malaysia.

Distribution

Known from the type locality (Bukit Lanjak, Lubok Antu District, Second Division, Sarawak, Malaysia [Borneo]), 840 m elevation, and central and southern Sumatra at elevation between 980 and 1429 m elevation.

Natural Resident: Indonesia, Malaysia, Malaysia, East (Sarawak and/or Sabah)

Most similar to Philautus longicrus according to the original publication.
