Polypedates impresus Yang, 2008, in Yang and Rao (ed.), Amph. Rept. Yunnan: 109. Holotype: Number 01092, by original designation, institution of deposit not noted (presumably KIZ). Type locality: Simao City (now known as Puer), Nuozdu River Crossing, Yunnan, China, 850 m elevation.

Common Names

Concave-crowned Treefrog (Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2012, Colored Atlas Chinese Amph. Distr.: 527). 

Concave-crowned Tree Frog (Niyomwan, Srisom, and Pawangkhanant, 2019, Field Guide Amph. Thailand: 422).

Yunnan Whipping Frog (Poyarkov, Nguyen, Popov, Geissler, Pawangkhanant, Neang, Suwannapoom, and Orlov, 2021, Russ. J. Herpetol., 28 (3A): 59). 

Distribution

Known definitely only from a few localities in Yunnan (Puer, Lüchun, Xishuangbanna) and Guangxi (Jingxin), China, Laos (Houa Phan, Phongsali, and Khoung), peninsular Thailand (Phangnga), and northeastern Vietnam (Lang So'n Province).
