Distribution
Known only from the type locality (Narayanghat, Chitwan District, central Nepal), although presumably in adjacent India.

Comment
In the Rhacophorus leucomystax group according to the original publication. Anders, 2002, in Schleich and Kästle (eds.), Amph. Rept. Nepal: 334-336, provided an account, figure, and map for the Nepal population. See Shah and Tiwari, 2004, Herpetofauna Nepal: 81, for brief account. Not mentioned by Khatiwada, Wang, Zhao, Xie, and Jiang, 2021, Asian Herpetol. Res., 12: 1–35, in their list of Nepal amphibians.
