Philautus asankai Manamendra-Arachchi and Pethiyagoda, 2005, Raffles Bull. Zool., Suppl., 12: 257. Holotype: WHT 3507, by original designation. Type locality: "Agra Arboretum, Torrington Estate, near Agarapatana, alt. 1665 m (06° 50′ 36″ N, 80° 40′ 40″ E)", Sri Lanka.
