Fauna Sri Lanka: 163–65, who provided an account. Manamendra-Arachchi and Pethiyagoda, 2005, Raffles Bull. Zool., Suppl., 12: 228–230, provided an account. Dutta, 1997, Amph. India Sri Lanka: 86–87, provided systematic notes, access to literature, and range.
