Fauna Sri Lanka: 163–65, who provided an account. Manamendra-Arachchi and Pethiyagoda, 2005, Raffles Bull. Zool., Suppl., 12: 228–230, provided an account. Dutta, 1997, Amph. India Sri Lanka: 86–87, provided systematic notes, access to literature, and range. See statement of geographic range, habitat, and conservation status in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 634–635. de Silva, 2009, Amph. Rep.
