Philautus bobingeri Biju and Bossuyt, 2005, Copeia, 2005: 30. Holotype: BNHM 4272, by original designation. Type locality: "at an altitude of 1030 m above sea level, from Ponmudi Hills near 'upper sanatorium' (approximately 8° 45′ N, 77° 08′ E) in Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala, India".

Pseudophilautus bobingeri — Li, Che, Murphy, Zhao, Zhao, Rao, and Zhang, 2009, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 53: 519. Provisional change by implication.

Distribution

Southern Westerm Ghats of southern India: Ponmudi in Kerala and Kakachi and Sengaltheri in Tamil Nadu.

Possibly most closely related to Raorchestes glandulosus (as Philautus) according to the original publication. Vasudevan, Chaitra, and Aggarwal, 2007, Curr.
