Raorchestes flaviocularis Vijayakumar, Dinesh, Prabhu, and Shanker, 2014, Zootaxa, 3893: 472. Holotype: ZSI/WGRC/V/A/875, by original designation. Type locality: "a disturbed forest fragment site (9.6064 N, 77.3033 E) located in a tea garden mosaic, Megamalai Massif (...), [Tamil Nadu] Peninsular India".

High elevations (1459–1569 m) of the Upper Manalar Plateau, Megamalai Massif, Tamil Nadu, India, in the southern Western Ghats; a closely related unnamed species or an isolated population in the adjacent Anamalai Massif.
