Raorchestes johnceei Zachariah, Dinesh, Kunhikrishnan, Das, Raju, Radhakrishnan, Palot, and Kalesh, 2011, Biosystematica, 5: 33. Holotype: ZSI/WGRC V/A/847, by original designation. Type locality: "leaf litter in bamboo thickets at Bonacaud estate (08° 40′ N; 77° 11′ E; Alt. 600m. a.s.l), Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala, India".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality and nearby areas in Bonacaud Estate, Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala, India, in the Western Ghats at 600 m elevation.
