Distribution
Endemic to the Western Ghats of Sout India and currently known from elevations of 100–1,000 m elevation south of the Palghat Gap in thet Agasthyamalai Biosphere Reserve (Chathankod-Makki, Ponmudi, Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary, and Shendurney Wildlife Sanctuary) in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam Districts, and Periyar Tiger Reserve in Idukki District of Kerala State.
Comment
In the Raorchestes nerostagona group and the sister taxon of Raorchestes nerostagona according to the original publication, where the external morphology, vocalization, range, and habitat were discussed.
