Distribution
Known only from the type locality around Mawrapat, approximately 5 km southwest of Mawsynram, Meghalaya, India, 1140 m elevation; possible to be found in adjacent Bangladesh.

Comment
Comparative morphology, morphometrics, molecular markers, and advertisement call detailed in the original publication, where this species was placed in their Raorchestes rezakhani group.
