Raorchestes mindat Köhler, Dost, Than, Ohler, Thammachoti Charunrochana, Chuaynkern, Chuaynkern, and Geiß, 2025, Zootaxa, 5613: 63. Holotype. CAS 234897, by original designation. Type locality: "between Hline Thoat village and Gyin Dwe village (20.9818, 93.9204; 1990 m a.s.l.), Kanpetlet township, Mindat District, Chin State, Myanmar". Distribution

Known from two localities in Kanpetlet township, Mindat District, Chin State, central Myanmar, 1530 and 1990 m elevation; reported from the the edge of Fakim Wildlife Sanctuary, Nagaland, and from Murlen National Park, Champhai District, Mizoram, northeastern India.

Comment

Molecular markers and comparative external morphology as well as natural history detailed in the original publication, where this species was previously confused with Raorchestes parvulus. Boruah, Deepak, and Das, 2025, Vert. Zool., Senckenberg, 75: 611–613, provided an account of the literature, distribution (including a dot map for India), morphology, molecular markers, and systematics within a larger revision of Raorchestes from northeastern India, and assigned this species to their Raorchestes menglaensis group. Saikia, Laskar, Shabnam, Saikia, Kharkongor, Sinha, and Dinesh, 2026, Zootaxa, 5796: 393–397, provided a genetically-confirmed (16S mtDNA) record from Murlen National Park, Champhai District, Mizoram, northeastern India.
