Distribution

Known only from the type locality (in and around Narpuh Wildlife Sanctuary, and in Riwai, of Meghalaya, India); likely to extend into adjacent northeastern Bangladesh.

Advertisement call, comparative morphology, morphometrics, and molecular markers were detailed in the original publication, where this species was placed in their Raorchestes garo group.
