Philautus sushili Biju and Bossuyt, 2009, Zool. J. Linn. Soc., 155: 433. Holotype: BNHS 4544, by original designation. Type locality: "Andiparai Shola, Valparai, Tamil Nadu, India".

Pseudophilautus sushili — Li, Che, Murphy, Zhao, Zhao, Rao, and Zhang, 2009, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 53: 519. Provisional arrangement and by implication.

Raorchestes sushili — Biju, Shouche, Dubois, Dutta, and Bossuyt, 2010, Curr. Sci., Bangalore, 98: 1120, by implication.

English Names

Sushil's Bush Frog (Dinesh, Radhakrishnan, Gururaja, and Bhatta, 2009, Rec. Zool. Surv. India, Occas. Pap., 302: 109).

Distribution

Known only from the region of the type locality (Valaparai), in the southern Western Ghats of Tamil Nadu, India, likely extending west into Kerala.
