Distribution

Endemic to the Western Ghats, north of Palghat Gap, and known only from the type locality (Singappara, Siruvani) and surrounding regions of the Silent Valley National Park in Palakkad district of Kerala State, India.

In the Raorchestes chromasynchysi group and the sister taxon of Raorchestes sanjappai according to the original publication where the external morphology, range and habitat were discussed.
