Rhacophorus bengkuluensis Streicher, Hamidy, Harvey, Anders, Shaney, Kurniawan, and Smith, 2014, Zootaxa, 3878: 356. Holotype. MZB.Amph.21194, by original designation. Type locality: "southwest slope of Bukit Barisan range near Kepahiang, Kecamatan Taba Pananjung, Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah, Provinsi Bengkulu, Sumatra, Indonesia (S 3.685556, E 102.538611, 600–650 m asl)". 

Rhacophorus (Rhacophorus) bengkuluensis — Mahony, Kamei, Brown, and Chan, 2024, Vert. Zool., Senckenberg, 74: 253, by implication.

None noted. 

Distribution

Low to intermediate elevations (likely between 250 and 900 m) of southwestern Sumatra (western Sumatera Selatan and Lampung provinces), Indonesia.

Comment

Previously confused with Rhacophorus catamitus, but most closely related to Rhacophorus margaritifer, according to the original publication. O'Connell, Hamidy, Kurniawan, Smith, and Fujita, 2018, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 123: 101–112, discussed molecular phylogenetics.
