Distribution

Known only from its type locality, near Dulongjiang Village, Gongshan County, Nujiang Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China, 1620 m elevation.

Comment

The sister taxon of Rhacophorus tuberculatus according to the original publication, where molecular markers (16S mtDNA) and comparative morphology were detailed. Larval morphology and advertisement call remain unknown.
