Rhacophorus hoabinhensis Nguyen, Pham, Nguyen, Ninh, and Ziegler, 2017, Asian Herpetol. Res., 8: 224. Holotype: IEBR A.2016.18 by original designaiton. Type locality: "in karst forest near Hang Kia Village (20° 44.020' N, 104° 53.370' E, at an elevation of 1350 m), Hang Kia Commune, Mai Chau District, Hoa Binh Province, Vietnam".

Rhacophorus (Rhacophorus) hoabinhensis — Mahony, Kamei, Brown, and Chan, 2024, Vert. Zool., Senckenberg, 74: 253, by implication.

English Names

Hoa Binh Treefrog (Poyarkov, Nguyen, Popov, Geissler, Pawangkhanant, Neang, Suwannapoom, and Orlov, 2021, Russ. J. Herpetol., 28 (3A): 60).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Hang Kia–Pa Co Nature Reserve, Hoa Binh Province, Vietnam, 1350 m elevation.

The sister taxon of Rhacophorus spelaeus + Rhacophorus orlovi according to the original publication.
