Rhacophorus spelaeus Orlov, Gnophanxay, Phimminith, and Phomphoumy, 2010 "2009", Russ. J. Herpetol., 16: 296. Holotype: ZISP9077, by original designation. Type locality: "Ban Doy Community, 18 km northeast of Thakhek, Thakhek District, Khammouane Province, central Lao PDR, 17°33′26″ N 104°49′28″ E, elevation 140 m a.s.l. (cave in limestone)".

Common Names
Cave-dwelling Treefrog (Poyarkov, Nguyen, Popov, Geissler, Pawangkhanant, Neang, Suwannapoom, and Orlov, 2021, Russ. J. Herpetol., 28 (3A): 62).
Distribution
Closely associated with limestone caves in Khammouan and Savannakhet Provinces, Laos, 140–413 m elevation.
