Rhacophorus viridimaculatus Ostroshabov, Orlov, and Nguyen, 2013, Russ. J. Herpetol., 20: 310. Holotype: ZISP 11311, by original designation. Type locality: "Du Gia Commune, Yen Minh District, Muong Cha Mountain, Ha Giang Province, Vietnam, 22° 54′ N, 105° 14′ E, 1300 m elevation". 

Rhacophorus (Rhacophorus) viridimaculatus — Mahony, Kamei, Brown, and Chan, 2024, Vert. Zool., Senckenberg, 74: 253, by implication. 

English Names

Green-spotted Treefrog (Poyarkov, Nguyen, Popov, Geissler, Pawangkhanant, Neang, Suwannapoom, and Orlov, 2021, Russ. J. Herpetol., 28 (3A): 62). 


Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang provinces, 600 to 1300 m elevation, northern Vietnam; possibly extending into adjacent Guangxi, China.

Natural Resident: Vietnam

Endemic: Vietnam


Similar to Rhacophorus orlovi and Rhacophorus hoanglienensis according to the original publication.
