Comment
The sister taxon and previously confused with Theloderma rhododiscus, according to the original publication, where external morphology and molecular markers were detailed. Bain and Nguyen, 2004, Am. Mus. Novit., 3453: 26-27, provided the record (as Philautus rhododiscus) for Ha Giang Province, Vietnam.
